Set inside an 1881 courthouse, the Custer County Courthouse Museum preserves and displays facets of regional history from the 19th and early 20th centuries. Areas of particular importance in the museum include antique furniture and clothing, Indian artifacts, and military memorabilia. It is located in central Custer, half a mile east of The Flintstones Bedrock City amusement park.
